The BUNG-BCAPX28WAL makes it easy to install up to six individual electrical circuits into your fuel tank. The 6-conductor bulkhead connector can handle up to 30 amps (ICS) which is enough to support the latest high-flow in-tank pumps. The 6061-T6 aluminum bung can be TIG welded on top of an aluminum fuel tank, fuel cell, surge tank, etc. The bung requires a 2″ (51mm) hole.
The 6-conductor APEX 2.8 bulkhead connector must be removed with a pair of c-clip pliers prior to welding in the bung to prevent heat damage. A flat circular area of 65mm (2.6″) is recommended for the installation area.
